I had TSP on my 2011 ss...absolutely no problem at all with these. They make a great product and the fitment it spot on. They are made overseas with good QC. That's why they are able to offer them at 1/3 the price of the others. Don't get me wrong. I'd love a set of arh, or kooks, or stainless works. But that's just not in the cards for my budget. In the end you buy what you can afford and always do your research before you buy.

They look identical to the OBX headers I just ordered for my 2016. I'll be installing them either Friday or this coming Monday. They were just over $600 shipped with resonated mid pipes (no cats).

Can anyone logically explain why there is such a large pricing difference between some of the resellers on ARH systems?

I am pricing a full ARH system and it seems there can be as much as nearly a thousand dollars... which brings me to the idea that a reseller might be selling a system re badged as ARH. All the sellers are well known and have an established reputations, so I am not sure what gives...:headbonk:
I think many have misunderstood your question. Doesn't sound like you are asking why ARH is so much more than some other brands, but why are you seeing such price variacnes between vendors for ARH?

If you are seeing a $1000 difference, I suspect something is not right. ARH has many different configurations, my bet is you aren't comparing the exact same config from vendor to vendor?

ARH headers are pricey, but if you can afford it, it's a worthwhile purchase.

I went with ARH for the fact that they're USA made, Lifetime warranty, and they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. I will be installing mine over the weekend. Can't wait to get them on and hear this beast roar! I can't find my system anywhere with them so it'll be new for me. I have the MBRP race series in black and bought the ARH Longtubes with off road pipes and the bottleneck elimninator.

the pypes stepped design, if you want something not expensive is a killer seller for us, and makes great power all throughout the band and we have some great deals on those

they go on easier than any other brand as well

as far as s197s being a cakewalk, compared, s197s are actually a little tougher than the s550

full arh system is way more than "nearly" a thousand. just the headers themselves are several hundreds more than a thousand...without any installs.
He's talking about the difference in price of the headers between different vendors being nearly $1000, not the price of the headers themselves.

This was my line of thinking as well, but OP, if you have any questions about the ARH header and exhaust systems, don't hesitate to contact us. We ran their full system (headers to tips) with the X cross over and it fit perfectly and sounded amazing. We still have people contacting us to purchase our exact set up so their car can sound like ours.

We are very close with ARH and use them on several shop cars for the reasons stated... 1) Made in USA 2) Perfect fitment 3) Excellent sound 4) Customer service is top notch :headbang:

I agree with beefcake, now way the S550 is harder than the S197. I have done my 2011 headers twice, once with k member in place, once with it dropped and it was tough either way. Haven't installed my ARH's in the '16 yet but being under the car there is much more room to access the bolts.

Kooks and ARH are right on par with one another for pricing. I would like to point out for those wanting to run ARH there is no need to relocate your O2 sensors as well as we're running a number of cars on E85 with zero issues.

In the end, we offer all brands for all budgets. If you have an questions about ARH at all don't hesitate to give us a shout, we'd love to take care of ya.

From what I understand, the S197 is a cakewalk compared to the S550's.
No way. There is a no k member in the way on the S-550 like what my S-197 had. There is a lot more room there to put the header up to its home. On my old car had to unbolt the trans mounts (and of course motor mounts and brackets) and carefully jack one side of the oil pan at a time to not only lift but also rotate the engine to get the room I needed to get the headers over the studs. Passenger side took two hours. Drivers side took 1 hour. Air ratchet is a god send because of the lock nuts. Doing them by hand would add at least an hour to each side I bet.

I was actually gonna go with OBX as well. I have them on my 2010 Camaro SS. Please let me know how they look when they arrive and how the fitment, quality, and finish is. I don't expect them to be ARH...but for the price, if they work and last and fit as well as they did on my SS, then I will buy these if I keep this car!!
