It’s crazy what the difference in price’s are. I was $1200 for Xpel(entire front end, a pillars, mirrors, lower rockers, partial rear quarters, handles, bumper area), and Xpel ceramic tint. This was all Xpel patterns, no hand cutting on the car. Same price and application on both of mine.
Here are some prices for the pre cut kits on XPel's website. You got a great deal if it's actually Xpel product. The material is about as much as you paid. Buying it by the foot and manually cutting it is way cheaper for the product but much more labor.

Then again, inflation is up lately.

What some do not take into account is the time and materials required for paint correction. Even a new vehicle will need paint correction after the initial prep done at the dealership which will induce swirls. If I had a white or silver vehicle and it was garaged I would probably not install the ppf. If I had anti matter blue or black I would for sure. Professional Ceramic coating is another great option to protect a vehicle. My car is Grabber Lime with no metallic and the previous owner had the entire front end, hood, fenders, lower quarters, rear portion behind doors half way to roof, and rear quarters done. There is not a chip or scratch anywhere. Its very expensive but will help with maintenance of the finish.

My buddy‘s an Xpel dealer/installer. He use’s a plotter to cut the material from the Xpel pattern software. He can do hand cut but really tries to stay away from it for obvious reasons. I know he treated me right. His clientele is higher end for sure but treats everyone’s vehicles like his own. My cars took him a couple days each. He did tell me the front end on the 350’s is one of the hardest to do correctly. Real time consuming.

$2,700 for the most comprehensive Xpel coverage package without wrapping the entire car and a full paint correction.

Hey voodoo ed. I live upstate NY and I am looking to get my shelby ppf in the spring when I get it out of storage. I was wondering where the place that you are talking about is and what the name is. Thanks
