I have nothing to post but I called Ford Performance and they confirmed my order priority is 1.Does you VON show “priority 1”. Can you post?
The question is whether a priority code of 01 applies only to a specific dealer's orders, as is the case with normal priority codes (mentioned here before and that link has the same thing; thanks for that!), or does it bump your order above all other dealer orders. The former might explain Mikepol2's Mach 1 as it would make his car be built before other orders at that dealer only, and not necessarily be first in line across all dealers. However, from what you're saying, and that article hints at, the latter case would be correct for a 01 priority. If that's true, then Mike's car is unfortunately being held up by a commodity issue (e.g. HP tires).Priority codes broken down

That Priority 1 doesn't seem to do a lot; at least that's my sense (in my case).I have nothing to post but I called Ford Performance and they confirmed my order priority is 1.
you didn’t get a VON from the dealer? You really should. It can be printed within seconds of order being placed. I would get it for yourself.I have nothing to post but I called Ford Performance and they confirmed my order priority is 1.
supposedly that 1 should be built first. That 1 can only be marked by a major rep. It’s not dealer specific. A 1 is a 1. It’s highest level. Now if parts are short then it will have to wait. I’ve had chrysler’s built within 4 days because my friends buddy was a big wig at FCA. ( challengers and SRTs). As soon as he gave him my VON it was built coupled days later. That was fun.The question is whether a priority code of 01 applies only to a specific dealer's orders, as is the case with normal priority codes (mentioned here before and that link has the same thing; thanks for that!), or does it bump your order above all other dealer orders. Also, it's very unfortunate what happened to the car your ordered. Hopefully Ford can get you a new one ASAP!
the VON is a vehicle order sheet printed. It’s proof that he actually put the order in also. What is a VON and why is it different from the VIN?
Not sure what good it would do. I have the order preview printed showing all the MSRP and invoice prices of my options with my signature and the sales manager's. And it's not like there is any doubt the order was placed, Ford Performance confirms it.you didn’t get a VON from the dealer? You really should. Well, I am not sure how feasible this will be, but if they do this, it may reduce some of these delays.Just got Ford email with update #13, now pushed back to production week of September 6. F everything.
Pretty sure Michelin, and not chips, are the reason our Mach 1's are being delayed. Asked my dealer if they'd ask Ford to ship mine with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S instead of Cup 2's but of course that appears to have died on the vine.Well, I am not sure how feasible this will be, but if they do this, it may reduce some of these delays.
