Picked up my Mach 1 yesterday and can't say enough about the car. Two minor issues: no front splitter or wheel lip molding. On order now. Good news is that the Gurney flap was in the trunk. I received the full history report and thought I'd share that history with you. This might help those that are in the waiting stage understand just how long this can take. 7 Jan-order processing, 14 Jan scheduled for 8 Mar, 22 Feb scheduled for 10 Mar build date, 2 Mar in production, 5 Mar body shop, 9 Mar trim line, 10 Mar produced, 13 Mar waiting transport and released (these all at Flat Rock. On 18 Mar Ramp 5 Newboston MI, 19 Mar Walbridge OH, 20 Mar Cincinnati OH, 21 Mar Louisville KY, 23 Mar Nashville TN, 24 Mar Wauhatchi TN, 25 Mar Howtransf GA, 27 Mar Greenwwod SC, 28 Mar ramp 4F Dixiana SC, 6 Apr delivered to dealer. This does not include the arrival and departure and there were some cities left off as they were on the same days I included above. So using my fuzzy math, it took 90 days from initial order to dealer delivery for the Mach 1 with the HP. Ask your salesman for all the paperwork as well as a 2021 Mustang brochure. Keeping all the associated paperwork will be worth it in the long run. Most of all enjoy your new rides when they come in.
Sounds same as my HP journey. And getting the splitter installed on mine the 24th

Ford is all over the place with their projected production dates LOL...

3/19 - came to agreement with the salesman on my order.
3/22 - dealership placed the order with Ford.
3/25 - Ford emails me with a production date of May 31.
3/26 - Ford emails a production date of May 3.
3/27 - Ford emails a production date of May 24.
4/9 - Ford emails a production date of May 17.

And the order tracking site always seems to lag a few days behind the emailed updates. Come on guys, this should not be that difficult.
Welcome to our world šŸ˜‚ this year has been crazy with production.

Did you get all that detailed transport information from your dealer? Also, does your dealer have the Mach 1 brochure?

Thanks and good luck... I'm in transit and would love to know where abouts is my Mach 1.

Yes, my salesman provided me with the report. On the top of the page it reads: 2021 Mustang - VIN 1FAXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. The second line simply says: Full History. Both these lines are in red. There may some hesitancy in providing this info from your dealer. I say this as at the bottom of the doc it reads: For Confidential : This website and the information within is Ford Motor Company Confidential.
The salesman that you deal with may not even be aware of this report as most do not get involved with the ordering and tracking of individual customer orders. That is one of the reasons that I did not provide my VIN and left off exact details of the 31 separate actions listed on my history. Hope this helps.

The gurney flap is placed on the rear spoiler (Handling Package only) only when attending track events. This flap essentially sits straight up and provide additional down force on the car. Ford only recommends using the flap on tracks where the car will meet or exceed 70 mph cornering speeds. Otherwise the flap will provide no benefit in normal driving and may affect mileage a small amount. Hope this helps.

4/6 order, production date 7/5 (not sure how the news of 2 more weeks of Flat Rock outages will affect that date).

I had them put it on at the dealership, it looks total bad ass. I have received many compliments on how good it looks as was my intention.

Got it. I wish I had gone through Granger... My salesman is a pip to say the least and Zack's numbers are MUCH better. To far down the process to bail though.

Named after Dan Gurney. Look him up. One of the best race car drivers to date.
