They are not exact replicas of the 50th... We can agree they were made with inspiration from 50th, but I think they look horrible and nothing near as good as the OEM

I don't like the chrome trim but apart from that it looks great

Looks like If you took some lexan and made two shorter pieces than the stock glass and taped them over it, it get you the same 3 stepped side glass look at 1/50th of the cost.

You'd never know unless you really really looked, if done right.
Was just throwing it out there. As 1200-1400 bucks for two small glass pieces seems like Shelby thinks they are Tiffany's
Heck, I'd go the diy route with the lexan then wrap it with carbon fiber vinyl for that race part look.

Shelby doesn’t make them, Hyperformance Glass Products does. They sell to Shelby though. They often do sales so you can get them at a pretty good discount. But, they aren’t all glass, they are a laminate.

At 1200-1400 they should be glass.

I have read the product page before. Where does it say they are made of laminate? It says several times they are glass.

I am really not trying to be facetious here but the only time I have ever heard the term laminate is the flooring. I just googled "laminate" to double check and the only thing that comes up is flooring.

Yes, that's what I read. Wait, so are people confusing laminated with laminate with something like lexan?

It’s laminated, as in a thin piece of glass between two sheets of some kind of plastic/polymer. The trademarked name of it is Gorilla glass. I’m not going to waste my time arguing over nomenclature when my intent was understood.
