Ok, so I ordered the Harrop oil cooler yesterday from Beefcake. I am looking for installation tips and tricks to make this a great experience. Will be doing the work myself.

Also, very interested in any suggestions on ducting to improve cooling and efficiency. I am familiar with fabrication but would like to know what others have used for procedures, materials, etc.

Oh man.....wish I would have known about this a few years ago. I like the design and the ability to fit it on a car that has an intercooler. Too bad I don't track my GT anymore.

Did you ever end up installing and testing this?
No, I have run into a period where I have had one knee replaced, the other coming up, carpal tunnel surgery on one hand and the other scheduled for October. And, just had nerve ablation done on my neck this past Wednesday. So, I just have not been able to do that kind of work.

But, it is still on the roster. I have been researching and learning about this set up and think that I am going to purchase a different thermostatically controlled adapter plate in order to use AN 12 lines. I am also expecting to achieve sainthood soon because I have been waiting for the FP Track Handling Pack since December ‘24 (and paid for it then). The latest little fib is that it should become available end of October. So my plan is to remove the front bumper cover then to install both the suspension and oil cooler. By that time I will most likely need to do at least the front brakes as well.

Then I will be ready to spend some more money on getting instruction and track time starting first with HPDE. From everything else I have read that should pretty much secure my position on the black tunnel bus. My plan? Just hold on and enjoy the ride.
