I did a search for Harrop and only came up with this thread for their oil cooler so if anyone has their oil cooler kit on your Stang would appreciate your opinion on install, fit and function with pictures (feel free to start a new thread). Thanks

The group buy never materialized, I'm pretty sure I was the one person who provided info for the group buy. Maybe we should both call them up and see if they will give us a discount.

Right now just gathering info to see if this kit is better than Mishimoto or any other kit.

the Mishi basically doesn't do anything useful. The Harrop has it's own source of air and it dumps it away from the radiator so it doesn't heat pollute.

That would be awesome if you could but no big deal if you can't. I mentioned this group buy to them just in case it mattered.
Did you receive and install yours ? And tested it ?

Yes I did, been running it on my car since October. It mounts and fits perfect. The -10AN lines it comes with are too small. My first couple track days I was getting low oil pressure (60psi WOT) as temps approach 250F. I made -12AN lines and now I get a hot oil pressure around 80psi, temps maxing out at 260F with Mobil 1 5w50. I think this cooler is at the limit of its ability on my car, on a bigger track where I am WOT for longer periods of time I believe I'd be getting over 260F quicker, and that's as hot as I'm comfortable getting it.

It is not as efficient as the Earl's 50 row extra-wide cooler I had mounted in front of the radiator before. I never liked how that cooler mounted (homemade) and it eventually developed a leak, probably from being stressed. I ran -12AN lines with this one as well.

The cooler in the kit is the Setrab 53-10751-01, SLM 592-14

I suspect some ducting is needed to truly maximize it's effectiveness. And I like this solution. I'm looking at McMaster Carr for high-temp weather stripping foam.

I'm still in for a discount but I'm afraid I might be the only other one besides you.

It would be swell if we could find one more. And I'll just order the 5 and keep the other on the shelf for a future interested person.
