Interesting. Perhaps the downstream H will tame the raspy quality of the X. It appears that the X creates a tight spot that causes a small compression and release (a 'pop'?) zone and maybe that downstream H will smooth it out a bit. I, too, am interested in the sound.

Seriously though, I don’t get all of the “rasp” talk. I have a Mach 1 with the Steeda X Pipe and it sounds perfect no rasp. Maybe it’s the stock GT catback.
