Stock comes painted I believe he did say that the new ones didn't come this way and he had to buy stickers. Not sure it matters. Still waiting on the part confirmation.
Either way, for $250 per Brembo caliper I'd buy the stickers on Ebay for $5. That's a killer price for Brembos.

These pirellis suck, I can't stand them. They are gonna wear out in about 20000 miles I would bet. What a waste of money

The standard 4 piston GT brakes are huge and work heads and shoulders above the ones that came on my '05 GT. My 3.31 gears are perfect IMO and the close ratio of the transmission wouldn't be good for me with 3.73's. Money wasn't an issue, but after driving a PP and Non PP I chose to order a Premium and upgrade wheels, 401A package and that's my educated decision. Drive both cars and decide for yourself.

People are saying they wear out at 6000 miles. If they last for 20000 then I'll be ecstatic.

I say pass on the PP for your use. I decided I didn't need it and didn't want it for a few reasons regarding my needs and wants for the car.

Its my DD for now and I plan to sun a set of 18" snow wheels and tires and you cant do that with the PP.

Suspension isn't the best. Aftermarket will still make a better setup cheaper.

Gears. I drove a PP car before I ordered my car and didn't like all that rowing for the amount of city driving I do.

I don't like the PP wheels (but I do like the 2016 option more).

I don't really plan on tracking my car until its paid off. Have fun with that insurance claim... "what do you mean you wont cover me because I was coming thru thee kink at Road America at triple digit speeds??" :headbonk: That's what my motorbike is for :first:.

Stock GT brakes are good as is. I think they are last years Brembos and that's not shabby for a street car.

Lastly, for the reasons above I don't need better cooling. If I was going to take it to the track I probably wouldn't push hard enough to find the limit of the stock GT with better rubber and some springs and shocks.
the base GT brakes are not Brembo's. They are made by Continental or another manufacturer.

@ 7500 miles and plenty of tread remaining (front & rear). Hopefully I get 20k miles out of them.

people who are getting that low out of them are driving on them like a bad out of hell....and just scared to admit...then claim 6k-7k... if you drive on them like a normal person they will last. Alot of people here though have just gotten rid of the wheels in tires anyways for aftermarket.

My pzeros have about 25 percent left on them at 7500 miles. My car is my daily, never raced or launched. Never used the line lock either.

Have to agree, regular person daily driving they should last 10-15k miles, even being Pirellis.

A lot of what you see is people beating on their cars and getting 5-6k miles on the stock tires.

Me. I like to play but I don't beat on my Mustang constantly. I love the car for the way it looks, the wonderful interior, and the performance when I want/need it. I like to go on road trips and cruise!

I don't have entrance ramps around my area though. I certainly enjoy them. :hail: Just have to drive an hour +...

Then there is the patrol. Only 2 main roads out of this peninsula, max speed is 55, 2 lanes on each side. HEAT is everywhere. Most roads are 45 or less...Add an orange car to the mix and well you certainly wouldn't be beating on her daily.

The only thing scaring me about the PP is the staggered wheels and the cost of the tires since you can't rotate them.
The cost of 4 18" non-staggered tires is the same as the cost of 19" Staggered tires...And the price range I'm talking about is $1,000

And you can still sell the stockers and buy a square set of 19s

But 19" winter tires are costly...4 of them are in the $1,000 range and higher.

No. Not even close. I checked this when I was deciding what to order.

18s < 20s < 19s, which surprised me a little. I was tempted on the 19" rims (non-PP) but decided to stick with the 18s. At the time I was driving 30k miles a year and it made a difference. I was NOT going to put a new $1200 set of tires on a six-month-old car.
