PROBLEM IDENTIFIED- It's the right front hub wheel bearing! There's no slop whatsoever, it's completely tight but when you spin the wheel it makes a muted popping noise. All the other wheels are completely quiet.
That's unexpected! Glad you found it. Will be interesting to see how the dealer attempts to get out of that.

So a bit more info.
1) My Ford dealer has me booked for 4 weeks from now just to look at it. And, the "diagnosis" takes 24-48 hours. Then if they don't stock the part who knows how much longer I wait. I plan to just repair myself.
2) There are no "heavy duty" or race-type front bearing hubs available for the Mach 1 (this is per Ford Performance guys).
3) Evidently full race S550s are getting "a whole season out of the front wheel bearings." I'm not sure what that means in terms of durability. I'm at 7,000 street miles and 6 or so track events, is that equivalent to a season of racing? Hard to know, I guess the durability will declare itself over time.

In the end, not really a big deal, but my prior car would get 50-80k miles out of a set of front wheel bearings with about the same amount of track use. However, this might be just a one-off fluke and the overall durability might be much better. The car does generate some good cornering forces so I'm not too surprised they might be a regular wear item with some replacement interval.

Old bearing out. Looks ugly, but only because of rust. When everything is off the only thing I notice when turning the bearing is it's really stiff. Once I get a replacement in and hopefully problem fixed I'll see if I can press or cut the old bearing apart.

The wheel bearings/ hub will fail with a couple of causes (outside of smashing holes)

Poorly torqued wheels

Heavy negative camber (with wide tires)

Last one is, theyre all junk OEM, aftermarket, etc

I replaced all 4 of mine and I have one rear thats noisy already. However this could be a thing due to the caliper springs not being on (someone else had messed with them before me) and I have been dinged up for a bit so i have not put the new oem ones back on. I HATE the ceramic brakes... off topic

Run -3.2 neg up front for track and the other item is I did hit a really bad pothole maybe 2-3 weeks ago at night. Shook the whole car but didn't think much of it, no vibration or anything afterward (no tire bubbles, did check the rubber afterwards) but maybe a contributor.

Potholes CAN do it.

For those who might need for future reference;
Wheel Hub assembly for Mach 1 is PR3Z--1109-B
Ordered from Ford dealer today, retail is $188.55 if you want the bolts too, they run $5 each (x4).
Hoping to have in hand by Friday. If you have time and can shop around, I've seen this bearing up for as low at $127 from another Ford supplier (don't remember which one).

-3.2° of camber and the fact that hub looks like it sat in the ocean for 39.3 days, will do it. 100%....

Yeah, the amount of rust is really amazing. My car has run literally 4x times in the rain since new. Of course there's a bunch of stuff under the car that's not painted and rusting. I'm in a pretty mild climate too. No snow here.

First, I am glad to see the hub is so easily changed.

Second, that rust makes me want to take it all apart, clean up and coat with some synthetic grease...... That rust will only get worse and eventually possibly fuse the pieces together....

Got the new parts. Anyone know how I can find out what the torque specs are for the hub bolts? They are pretty big and I had to use a breaker bar to get them loose. Thanks
