Went and saw a Guard EB Premium at Elder Ford of Tampa today, here's what I thought.

1. Holy s**t the pictures don't do this car justice. The lines are unbelievable.

2. The overall build quality (both interior and exterior) is leaps and bounds ahead of the S197

3. As many have said, the sound of the EB isn't anything overly impressive but I didn't hear it revving at all. (Video below)

4. The Ford logo on the windshield isn't noticeable unless you're looking for it.

5. A 7' man could probably fit in the front seats without a problem, but my 5'11" self was hitting the glass when I sat in the back seat. There is enough space for the front seat to scoot forward giving both the front and back enough leg room though so I guess that's a plus.

6. The Guard color is very sharp and professional looking, but I'm going to stick with my CO.

7. For the extra money, I'd expect a matching spare wheel, not some crappy rim with a tire.

8. Those seats are fantastically comfy. It felt like they were hugging me like Recaro's but with slightly more comfort. Oh, And they were saddle and matched the Guard color great.

9. All the materials I touched were soft and I could tell the toggles were aluminum but I could see why some people don't like them. I think they have some sort of coating over them to protect the finish or something (which might give the impression of plasticy).

10. The spoiler on it actually wasn't bad at all, seemed like a natural part of the car. I guess it's just the GT one that look god awful.

Good job on the review, eagerly waiting for your video.

I've seen hundreds of pictures of this color at this point and I still can't tell what it actually looks like.

My exact combo, in the flesh. Guard looks way better here than it ever has, got a touch of OD Green that I was looking for in direct sunlight.

You're telling me. It goes from blue to silver to green to crappy-dusty-silver-green to holy-shit-awesome-blue-green-dark-silver. Direct sunlight photos seem to be the least flattering and indoor photos look pretty darn good.

I just want to see it in person, cheezus chraaast.

I can guarantee this isnt your car, its a pre-production model. Just a mere coincidence. However your lucky there's pictures of what your car will look like exactly. I'm having trouble finding high resolution pictures of Ecoboost Oxford White with PP.

The build quality of the current car is excellent, so I don't see how the new car is leaps and bounds ahead of it in this regard.

Now the material quality on the interior of the S550 certainly seems to be better than that of the current car from what I've seen, but there's a big difference between material quality and build quality.

Well there's certainly no rumble present. The building's A/C was louder...
