That's still got the protection tape on it, that had already gone on the dealer car.

I recon that's a take off / replacement front clip due to transport damage :like:

At my dealership, we lost 6 cars in one night. They were all in the service department. They broke the glass window on one of the rear shop garage doors and climbed through. Then turned on the switch for the garage door and then opened it. The mistake was keys were left in cars on the ground. These were new cars and one customer owned car, and one owned by the GM of the dealer. We have made changes to prevent more thefts, such as parking cars across the garage doors. The one attempt during business hours was a real eye opener though.
So this may be a stupid question but.... you mean to tell me that Dealerships are not alarmed with security on major areas that could be breached???

How would they know that cars in the service bays would be loaded with keys too? Is it common for the Service Center to just leave the keys inside the cars after hours?

Yes it is common. Most times we wanted the keys in the cars in case of fire. Some dealers now require keys in unattended cars be put in a lock box.

Things weren’t done with security in mind, but instead, lack of effort and care. Hell, we can’t even get broken doors or toilets fixed because someone would have to spend some money or time.

Many business’s operate that way. Hell most people don’t fix shxt in there own homes. But not every one is half ass cheap in this world, thankfully.
Ford should hold that dealership accountable and responsible for their Incompetence.heads need to roll ,fire them .
