Can you go to quiet when in sport or track mode? He did mention that so I presume that's the issue.

Yes… you can set exhaust modes independent of drive mode to give you any combination you would like. Going around the track with an exhaust you can’t really hear is not very thrilling but it’s better than not going around the track at all
