redline's look good too, but i just ordered the MRT's bc i dont want any drilling, no matter how small.

paid $99 OTD from MRT directly. CJ pony has it too for same price and free ship but had tax to CA.

I also installed Redlines on both my track pack and now my R... No issues what so ever. I hate the stick at the end of the bonnet. The GT500 comes with only one longer / bigger strut, so they did make that modification...
I actually like the Redline struts a lot.

Thumbs up from me on the redlines. I took off the sticker and they look and work great. No drilling other than the battery cover.

This was one of the first mods I did to my GT350 and I also removed the stickers. They look like they are from the factory, other than the small hole you have to drill in the plastic cover. They even provide the drill bit to make the hole the right size.

Yes, take a close look at the pic of my car in post#30. You will see a horizontal cut made on the battery cover edge so that it can slip on or off without removing the strut.

installed the MRT hood struts today. excellent (excellent) quality, easy install, no cutting battery cover. i did remove the "MRT" stickers for a more OEM look. did a quick 4 minute video too...

I'm keeping original. I don't open hood so often like my office door. Don't see a good reason why should I change.
