Gt350R delivered!!!

She got here Monday evening and I already got her tinted.

Looking to do a few mods but whooa - what a beast!!

People are taking photos of it at traffic lights and with that exhaust it’s like being in a fish bowl.

First impressions are very good. Not straight line quick or AMG scary fast at acceleration but I think it’s like having a gt3 Porsche (I had a 911s with mods and gt3 kit in the past - launch edition with ceramics) - this feels more visceral and very sharp.

She is my weekend/fun car to drive but kept my 19 Raptor for my daily usage. Ford performance would be proud of me!

Thank you - I am sure most likely know the specs but here are a few.

Its a new to me 2018MY - Lead Foot grey. It had 2,800 miles on it and I bought it from Arkansas. The guy was just about to wholesale it and I offered him the same price if I paid cash for it immediately. I live here in Orlando so I had to get it shipped to me.

Crazy part of this is that the car was originally bought from a dealer a few miles away and I am now the 3rd owner of this one. Car was pretty clean except a few rock chips that were very small on the quarter panels. It did not come with the engine strut mounts or any other delivery awesomeness that you get from a brand new one. Just 2 keys and the original sticker with the books.

The nice part was that it got a fresh oil change and they added a 7 year power train warranty that is transferable to my local dealership. Nuts - but I will not keep it but a year or two likely.

This car has the electronics package which I believe was pretty much the only options you could opt for. Still cannot make up my mind to de-stripe it or not. Really starting to dig them but I also have one small rock chip on the hood one that might warrant fixing it or taking it off.

A few ordered and installed options already:

1. Installed tint (15% lumar stratos on all except window that got 40% stratos)
2. Installed Steeda clutch spring.

Ordered:

1. R badges from billet badges
2. 350R black mats with red logo
3. 350R steel license plate (don’t laugh - I really liked it)
4. Ford racing filter (blue) for intake
5. Black gloss vinyl wrap for roof (made appointment)

Looking into;

1. Some type of tuning to unleash some additional horsepower
2. Hood piston/braces that I do not have to drill or modify anything
3. Tires that can drive in FL wet roads - probably Michelin 4s tires
4. Maybe a set of 20 inch wheels/tires that I can store the carbon wheels away so I don’t curb one or break it
5. LED lights for the rear backup light
6. Ceramic coating with paint protection or xpel type of film

Quick question for everyone. Can I buy 2019 mirrors from a gt350R and just tap power to get the puddle lights? I don’t want to have to drill my originals and mess them up.

I had a flat fixed a couple weeks ago and the dealership broke the wheel. I think it cost them 3,400 or so to replace. Customer price was 5,200. No thanks.

And to wonder why I had three other Ford dealers in the area tell me they won’t work on the tires for an R. Lol. Even Ford corporate basically told me to just look around for an independent shop that can do it.

1. Redline Hood struts for your hood. easy install no drill ect ect
2. Flex tune from Jon jr on a Nguage. I have not been up in Orlando lately so I do not know the e85 availability there, but boy does e85 wakes her up.
