GT350R - Canadian Availability?

It seems to me that many of the early and already delivered 2017 R models are going to various locations in Canada and possibly because of the mostly severe winter conditions that causes tire issues for the Sport Cup 2 tires.

On Saturday I came across a 2017 GT350R chassis number "HR013" which is a Ruby Red/Black roof/Electronic Package and this car is presently sitting in a Western Canada showroom as we speak and looking for a new home.

That is the good news and the bad news is there is a $20,000 ADM on this car which is pretty much a minimum ADM for many dealerships these days with respect to these 2017 R model allocations.

In any event to have chassis #13 for the 2017MY would be quite cool in my opinion so if anyone is interested please PM me and I will provide the dealership name and the sales person contact information.

If I don't respond back in a timely manner that is because I am picking up "HR019" tomorrow!!!:clap2:

Yep, you lucky dudes got most of the early ones. I'm hoping ford doesnt go off an just look at dealership order location but rather drop ship location. My dealers are in the tropics. I dont want a car coming in november here. I'd rather it comes in april of next year or within 2 months.

If we're talking the same 2017 I think that ruby is the owners personal vehicle. Could be wrong though.

We could be talking the same vehicle and if so the owner is now not keeping this vehicle.

In any event I suggest that "HR013" may be the lowest chassis number allocated to the Canadian marketplace for the 2017 MY.

Car has been shipped and arrived in Ontario yesterday!!

Fingers crossed it is shipped from there to the Dealer between now and the 11th so that I can pick it up on the 12th on my next days off!!

Spoke with Don earlier, it is currently on its way through Quebec as of this morning

Dealer delivery is scheduled for an estimated August 11th, give or take a day or so he said; so everything should be good for delivery day to me on the 13th!

Car should be here this week. it was not at dealer this morning.
Don's on holidays, but spoke to sales guy who's taking care of it, he came and found me.

haha yeah I gave Stephen a call earlier to make sure he knew to only give it a basic wash and leave the splitter uninstalled :lol:

It arrived in Dartmouth though yesterday according to FP, so I assume it is at Autoport now; pretty confident that it will be there well before I get there on Friday to pick it up. The boat docks in North Sydney at 9:00 a.m, so I should be at the dealer by 2:30 or 3:00 in the mid afternoon. What gas station do you use there TR?

This is literally the longest week of my life waiting for Friday :lol:

I will take a run by autopost and see if I can see it

It was in Halifax as of this morning on a truck, so I believe it was being transported to Autoport then. Going to call them tomorrow to see if there's any possibility of having it rushed through or ensure that it gets delivered to the dealer by Thursday.

You have any idea if the dealer would have a guy come in to do window tint on the car before I got there if I requested it?

And what gas station do you use!? Haha

Yeah that's what they said, FP couldn't tell whether it was at Autoport or not or where exactly it was, but last update was that it was on a truck yesterday morning in Halifax! I sure hope it does get delivered today! Going to call Stephen after to see if I can arrange for the tint to be done, at least then on the drive home and once I get it home I won't have to keep the windows up

In the past I've just used Costco since they're top tier certified, but we do have a single she'll station locally as well. Unfortunately we only get 91 as well :(

I saw the video of yours on the dyno, how did it make out?
