GT350R - Canadian Availability?

Not to hijack the thread - but since a full page of this thread is going on about xpel and stripes, over , matte, etc, I might as well chime in ;)

I recently changed my LB w/o OTT to LB with black /w white trim stripes. The last photos in the LB thread convinced me to go that direction, even though i didnt really like the gloss stripes in person. I def. want to do at least the whole front with xpel, so planning to have the hood done in one piece over the stripes. Best case - I can have matte black aftermarket done over the xpel if I decide I want that, and worst case still have the original stripes underneath which should still stay on if I have to remove the xpel or get it redone at some point....

Or maybe im just "sciencing the shit out of it" as somebody once said..:lol::lol::lol::lol:

It is quite an amazing feeling I am not going to lie

I don't believe so unfortunately man, the new car manager told me there were 3, the other 2 were spoken for, and I am actually getting the earliest built one, which is why it was already built.

Good luck to you man if you're searching for one! If the user above RMOORE doesn't pick up his magnetic R with white OTT stripes for whatever reason I'll be sure to let people on here know so that they can try to pick it up!

I see what you did there Mr Martian :lol:

One good thing about the gloss white stripes on the R I'm getting, is that I can now just Xpel the entire car and not have to do it in pieces, so I'll try to get the installers to eliminate the "air gap" caused by the edge of the stripes as much as possible, but at least the whole car including stripes will be protected!

I have made a deal with them and will be purchasing after all, will be putting my deposit down tomorrow morning once I fly back home tonight. Could not get MSRP, but considering what some others are paying and being sold at, considering myself extremely lucky.

I'll confirm the deal in the morning once I pay the deposit so that I can say pricing details and give a shout out to the dealer I am working with.

PUMPED to be able to buy this R, and the best part is it is already built and awaiting to be shipped from Flatrock!!!

Not at the moment.
they had 3 allocations, this was the last available.
I did ask if they could find another though, so we will see

I can only imagine! My "sports car" history has considered of only 4 cyl cars to date (Subaru WRX, CLA45 AMG). This is the type of car I've always dreamed about, have drooled over it and it's exhaust since it was launched in 2015

Just a quick update; placed my deposit today!!! Paid a 5K ADM, car is being bought through Macphee Ford, awesome group to deal with who worked with me to make this happen!

Biggest shootout to [MENTION=11655]ohtobbad[/MENTION] though, said it once said it a million times, can't thank you enough for your help man, wouldn't have been possible without you!

Now the "hard" part comes, the wait

Al & Andrew Macphee are super people. Don Macleod works wonders and puts up with us car nuts with many calls and questions.

Did you get a Vin? Did the give you an idea when it would be coming?

Where you car is, if sitting at plant, railcard or shipped.
Let me know when shipped, I have friend at Auto port.
I even met the person who drop mine of the train LOL.

A fella just got his built this week and his will be there in 2 weeks. He is in Canada as well. If yours is built already i wouldnt be suprised if it isn't on its way.
