I am wondering if the Nav is a plug and play in other words get the Track and aadd the Nav after? yes or know...I know on Dodge you can do this and some Fords...

i have the feeling tech pack would be the most desireable of the two. Not everyones a hardcore tracker. Track package would definately be the most rare but less people would look for it as well.

Nav will not be plug and play. You'd have to change so much out, it would be a huge pain.

If you want nav, get the tech package. Want the coolers and Recaros, track pack. Don't want or need either? Base. Need a solid track car? R. Want it all? R with electronics.

Why would you spec out one of these based on resale value, why not order the car that will make you happy?

Because everyone is not the same. Some only keep cars 2-3 yrs.... next up GT500, then maybe a new Corvette C8 mid engine....etc

They want to enjoy the car but know themselves and also have an eye on the future...

I'm going track pack...why? Because I have my phone for Nav and good radio and have always wanted recaros. I think I need to lose some weight before this car arrives lol

My dream car for the longest time was a track beast with 500+ hp and recaros...I'm ready :-D even though the wife is gonna hate it lol

I typically don't keep them long either, it's just the price you pay to play

95% of 2016 GT350s will NOT see a track.... won't stop posers from chasing down "Rs".

Ford learned their lesson in 1965....when they built a race car that was street legal (barely) and learned that buyers only wanted a street car that looks like a race car...

I think the difference in impact on resale value will be negligible. Buy whatever you like better. Forget about the next owner.

Screw the resale value, buy the car for what you want and not what you think will get the most back from the next owner

Those seats can be ordered from Racaro. Probably sans GT350 badging. But they can be had .... These are far simpler seats than the tech pack seats, they just have race inspired bolstering and a long history of making racing specific seating. So get the tech pack.... Buy the seats and swap them out.

2016 Shelby GT 350 Tech Package
I am going for the tech pack. I don't understand all the love for the Recaro seats. They are cool looking but they are cloth and when the cloth ages even a little it looks terrible. The tech pack seats have just as much side bolster plus leather holds up and looks better longer. Heated and cooled seats are better plus 6 way power adjustment is much nicer than the simple pull handle to slide fore and aft. Are you guys really going to be at the track that much to justify the track package? The suede steering wheel also worries me. Suede looks crappy when it gets worn or oily. Our hands have oil and get sweaty sometimes. I plan to wear leather driving gloves when I drive mine to help keep the steering wheel looking nice for longer.

Agreed eventually they will be available from Recaro just like the all the Ford OEM Recaro seats are. Link

Oops correction looks like it may just be showcased and not available to purchse
