You probably already know this but there is a resonator inside each of the side pipes. I bought an extra set of side pipes and had a muffler shop cut them open, remove the resonator and then weld them back together. Really loud but they sounded so good.
I owned a 2013 Boss 302, a 2016 GT350, and a 2019 GT350R. The S550 is a much more refined platform and much better on track. For a while I had the Boss and the 350 and for a street cruise I usually preferred the more raw feel of the Boss, YMMV.
I had the pleasure of taking a fellow forum member for their first ride in a GT350 today, while they are waiting for theirs. It was awesome to meet someone with a similar passion and to see their enthusiasm and anxious anticipation.
My point is I bought what I wanted, I didn't settle for the closest thing ford offered. If I had wanted all of the electronics bs on my car and ford didn't offer it I would have bought something else. I'm not married to ford or any other brand or model and I wouldn't settle for less than what...
I bought what I wanted, I'm happy with it and am not concerned about the next MY changes, just waiting/hoping for the new GT500 announcement, to add to my stable. Hope everyone gets what they want!
I'm sure you'll have fun, enjoy!
Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't solve the time issue for me, I can get a reasonable flight, I'm just not interested in spending two days traveling for a one day class.
