IIRC, when the R was announced at NAIAS it was stated the R was 130 lbs lighter than the GT350 with the track package.they did say, the R was 130 lbs lighter.
Curious what configurations the used for weights.
Agreed. They need keep certain things as packages but more free standing options, similar to the 13-14 GT500s. I ultimately want a 900A car with 60T but I want sync 3 as well on the full screen. Unless I get the Tech pack or the R w/ electronics, I am SOL. Rather not go for Tech because I want the raised decklid wing, cooling and recaro seats.It's pretty shit that you have to lose the Recaros if you want the tech package. I really wonder WTF Ford is thinking with the optioning strategies for the GT and GT350...
Depending on how much more the tech pack power seats weigh, as compared to the Recaros, the track pack might actually be slightly heavier, once you factor in the weight of the heat exchangers, pumps, and extra oil for the engine, transmission, and diff coolers.
