ThanksThe gt350 knob has a smaller thread size, you are going to have to drill the threads out to make it work. The 27/64 is the drill bit size you are going to use to be able to use the 12x1.25 tap. I'm sure any hardware store should be able to get you the proper tap
Not sure what you mean by using a drip? You guys are using a drip to tap it too? Seems like if you're not careful you could easily screw up and have it be done.
You will have to drill it regardless. I used my cordless and went slow just making sure to keep it straight. If you don't drill it the tap will be to bigSorry. Stupid phone. Meant to say drill. Looks like a tap and die set and doing it slowly by hand would be ideal. I don't have a drill press so I'm not sure how I would drill the hole out perfect. I may just take it to the machine shop.

Had trouble finding the 350 knob in stock anywhere so I had to order from my local Ford dealer. A bit more than I wanted to spend on it but this is something that I have been wanting to add for awhile. Now it is a waiting game to see when it comes.
I am hoping it comes before Christmas because I will be back home in PA where my uncle has a shop to work on the car.
