I ordered myself 2 shift knobs and a tap. When its done I'll take pics of it on an MGW shifter with OEM knob adapter

Are you guys tapping these at home? Do I do it by hand or are you guys using drills?

You are going to have to drill it out to 27/64 and then use your tap. With the tap just take your time with it

I may be confusing myself... Blue Oval Industries website lists the knob as 12x1.25mm. Isn't this the same thread pattern as our cars? Or is it a typo?

It's a typo another member noted that as well.

The gt350 knob has a smaller thread size, you are going to have to drill the threads out to make it work. The 27/64 is the drill bit size you are going to use to be able to use the 12x1.25 tap. I'm sure any hardware store should be able to get you the proper tap
