I've been considering moving up but I find myself in abit of a flux. Price range 50 to 60K. Do I go 2016 to 2018 GT350 or 2021 to 2023 Mach 1? This car would not be tracked or on the strip. Not a daily, but not just a weekender either. I do enjoy spirited driving. I feel the Mach 1 fills the bill better but .. the GT350, what more can I say?

No way to lose picking between a Mach 1 and 350 unless you can’t warranty the 350 due to age or miles. I recently picked up an ‘18 350 with 21k miles and the “cover everything” platinum extended warranty for 6 yrs and an additional 90k miles was $3500 through my credit union. A Mach 1 is fabulous, but, the GT350 is transcendent. That’s the easiest way to say it.

Mischevious purple Mach1 all day but you do you . GT350 will likely be the one to have the best appreciation but if you daily driving something the Mach1 does everything the 350 does outside the exhaust note and a Mach1 doesnt sound bad . Mach1 active exhaust the one you can do 1000 miles in and not feel jaded at end of it

I definitely like the idea of a warranty, especially when considering these years in the 350. This is one of the reasons I put the Mach 1 above.

Mischievous Purple does look good. I would definitely like to find a Velocity Blue option. Exhaust, I feel the active valve would be enough, however if not, definitely options out there to fine tune the sound. Another car I have considered is the Jaguar F Type, SVR or R. Sound on these cars are absolutely amazing, not to mention the 575 horsepower.

I've had the pleasure of driving each of these cars, but found the Jag (middle is the R version) more exciting. Hence when thinking about the Mustang, this where the 350 leads over the Mach 1.

They definitely have. Considering the SVR version used to be found at 120K plus. I've driven the 17 and 19 SVR, and 20 R, OMG! Exotic meets something else. Hence the reason these cars find a place I would like to have.

I would add one more vehicle to that mix. A 2024 Dark Horse. I have seen those in the 55~65k range. A Tremec 6-speed, plus all the goodies one would need with the performance pack. gen 4 5.0 is a great motor, and with a DH, it has even more enhancements.

Something to think about. That said, GT350, Gen2 Voodoo.

I went back and fourth between the 2 for quite awhile and landed on the Mach. It’s just a nicer car and the coyote is dead reliable. Plus it happens to love boost. Can’t go wrong with either though

You need to drive a GT350 before deciding. This car is special. Very special. I could describe it all day but until you wind this thing out on a curvy road you won’t get the whole picture.

It is a different animal.

I am a bit biased owning a Mach 1. It is perfect for me. I know lots of people with Shelby's . They love them too. Its all about driving them both and see what you like the best.
