Some of us are patiently awaiting the outcome between these two cars, it was supposed to go down yesterday but I was told it's going down tomorrow....

Looks like cj manifold beat gt350 manifold by a fender.

A race that close could be a drivers race or traction issues.

Doubt it. 40 roll they both shift quit well

Video of the race?

I think it's safe to say that they both make similar peak numbers. For me, and my use of the car as a daily, I'd prefer the higher torque and average power of the 350 manifold. Average power gives the overall feeling of being more powerful, especially lower in the range where I spend 97% of my time.

Since the gt350 has more lower torque, that could have been the result of spinning more then the cj. Also one of them probably is better by some degree then the other. Either way its nice hearing some results. The gt350 price compared to the cj is hard to beat.

Yes it still needs to be notched.
No it doesn't. I used the UPR adjustable mounts and I did not have to notch the hood to get it to clear.

I wonder why someone elses was rubbing with mounts
Maybe they didn't adjust the mounts all the way? Or maybe they used a different brand? I know someone that used Steeda mounts and said they had issues with clearance. With mine I had no issues.

What mounts are on your car? If adjustable, I assume they were set up for the lowest engine position?

Thanks

I have the UPR mounts and yes they're set for the lowest position.

I appreciate that. I have a CJ from my 2011 in the garage. Might have to throw it on once the snow and salt is finally gone.

Thanks again.
