Well, it would be reworked. Would be nothing like the last 4.6 modular. I am only saying that because cars now are going for smaller displacement engines coupled with a turbocharger system. It would not be like a boat anchor.

Yes you are right, you don't need a lot of displacement to make big power. I would still choose the 5.0 over the 4.6. Since Ford is currently making the 5.0, they might be able to save some dough. Although at the power levels they will be making, who knows almost everything might have to change.
