I recently had my '17 GT350 ECU flashed and it made some interesting changes to the character of my car. Seems to provide increased low end torque and some exhaust tweaks. I was mostly looking for a reduction in piston slap since reaction to the service bulletin, 18-2290 TSB, seemed to identify improvement. Piston slap reduction wasn't the initial goal for the OEM flash but the byproduct seemed promising. One change that I didn't expect in sport mode was for traction control to be minimized if not reduced to the level of track mode. Anyone else with experience or information regarding this flash? Please chime in...

So you had a revised OEM map loaded in?

I asked if I could get this reflash but was told no, unless your car has the sticking exhaust valve

If you search, there is a whole thread dedicated to this Flash. I had it done to my 2016 and it did seem to reduce piston slap some. I don't recall anyone reporting a change to traction control.

I had it done to my 2017 and did not notice a change in noise. I have not noticed anything on the traction control end but will check next time I drive it

Sometime 17 was the cutoff. Thus depend on how the dates fell, you probably already have it on a 17. Might explain why you didn’t notice a difference.
