I just wish you could order the black stripes without the damn white pin striping! I don't know why it bothers me so much ... I need a beer!

My thoughts as well. I'm curious if you could just rip off the accent striping.

you can do what I did and order no stripes and do the R stripes after the car gets here, or have some custom aftermarket stripes put on.

I'm curious how durable those vinyl stripes are. Do they go on before or after clearcoat? I saw an older S197 Shelby GT (I think it was) and the stripes were faded and pealing horribly. Anyone have any insight on this?

I also have a question regarding the stripes. I'm getting the non R/track pack in RR but the pictures of the yellow R have really grown on me in the last couple days. I am contemplating changing from red to yellow but I would want the matte black stripes with red pin stripes.

What would be the best way to do this? Order the car with stripes and then have aftermarket R stripes put over the existing stripes for an exact sizing match or order the car without stripes, find out the exact measurements of the stripes and have them put on then? I have major OCD and would want the stripes to be an exact match to the R.

Order without. It's likely you'll be able to purchase the stripes from Ford before too long.

I guess I didn't even consider ford offering to sell them to the general public. That would be great and much better than having to worry about an exact aftermarket match. I hope this is a possible route. I'm still trying to decide between that or just sticking with RR/black roof and stripes. Thanks!

Accidents happen. They have to sell these aftermarket.

I'm just happy there's no way they can possibly be as grotesquely expensive as the '13 Boss stripes because they're not reflective.

That makes total sense to me now. I feel better about possibly changing to yellow and without stripes. Of course I still love the RR so it's a tough decision.

I had originally ordered my GT350R in that combo. Changed it to blue/white. I think I may have to go back after finally seeing it on a car.
