GT350 Cold Start Bark

Not sure about the rest of you, but my HEP's cold start bark has gotten more menacing by the day. Could be the warmer weather or break-in miles (400+ now), but my neighbor (100+ yards away and in his house) texts me every time I start Mollie up. He's appreciative of the craft but we're considering a move to a townhome community. Can't imagine their reaction. I suspect I'll last a week before they throw me out.

Have to admit, I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out .

If you press the start button and wait a few seconds for the exhaust valves to cycle it will quiet down the cold start bark.
I love the bark and during my ownership I would purposely beat the valves cycling so I can hear the full anger.

yep thats my early am departure trick to keep it quiet

I wait a good 10secs for the valves to cycle - she still likes to make that first bark heard

I swear these do get louder with age. They certainly don’t get quieter. Lol

I hate my neighbors and it puts a smile on my face everytime I start it up. Normally it's afternoon or evening drives. Looking forward to bring the kids to school soon at 6:45am lol.

Oh.. and I back it into the garage so the sound bounces off the walls and is greatly enhanced (on purpose)

My neighbors are great and we all look out for one another. God help the idiot who comes to our culs-de-sac to do us harm, they’ll never find the body ;-)
I keep the garage door closed for a few seconds after start up if it’s early in the AM. Let’s face it though, people work all hours of the day so any time could be disruptive.

I'd politely ask your neighbor "Who dis?" if they called my gt350 a Mustang.
