Okay, so say I buy Steeda's Tri shifter. How big of a pain is to put in with the exhaust attached? I'm thinking of delaying my install and ordering a shifter which I'm not even sure I want yet just so I don't have to remove my new exhaust down the road.
Honestly compared to most things under the car dropping the exhaust on these is trivial. Just put it on now and whatever mod you want to do later take it off again if it's in the way.

For some reason I have it in my head it isn't good to dissasemble/reassemble exhaust connections that use use clamps? I've never had aftermarket exhaust where the clamps squeeze an outer tube tightly around an inner tube. Obviously it distorts the outer tube onto the inner one. I am naive, not sure if taking this kind of connection apart makes it harder to reassemble and not get leaks if a person was to do it repeatedly. What are your thoughts on this?

My MBRP uses the factory front clamp, the rest of it can be dropped as a single piece just like the factory once initially assembled. I haven't heard any issues and one of the local guys had probably had his exhaust off 5-6 times at least.

Well that makes me feel better about it. Thanks for the reply.
