The fact a 2.2D X-Type I used to own could tell the difference, and show it's displeasure at, being fed regular diesel instead of V-Power means the Mustang gets 99 all the time or the 100 Racing stuff on the Continent!
In 11.5K miles it's been fed regular unleaded twice; the first fill paid for by the dealer at a petrol station so heaving I didn't really get a choice, and once up in the wilds of Scotland where there was nothing else available. (TBH I was surprised they had leccy up there but that's by the by).
