Will be interesting to see if the prices go up after the recent events in the UKFuel prices are on the up again too, V-Power is about 10p more than when I started filling up with it
What bike? The prices will go up, that's for sure.
I've tried 95 and 98 and not noticed a difference. In an air cooled big twin motorcycle, there is a noticeable difference.
I have identified where the problems you were having with either 95 or 98 were coming from,There was a noticeable difference between the two on my diesel X-Type so I'm damn sure I won't be using the cheap stuff in a 5-litre V8!
I doubt there's much in the way of power to be gained but you may notice a difference in MPG. The question is, do the extra miles outweigh the extra cost?
When I was at Modurstang a Supercharged Stang come in, and me Mike and the owner had a long chat about 95 v 98, what Mike said for our cars 95 is fine, its all to do with the spark, only issue is when you put 95 in a supercharged Stang, then you can blow the engineOnly ever use super in any of my cars.
Have seen the damage regular fuel has caused to cars (which were specifically stated to use super 350z)
I know the mustang CAN be run on regular but I won't ever put it in there

Ive been mixing it up in mine.... 10 tanks of 98 followed by 10 tanks of 95 (etc). As I approach my first fill up in the GT, thought I would resurrect this thread to see if any more views on the 95v98 debate!:headbonk:
I know the car Ecu will need a few tanks of super before anything happens, so hopefully those on super have had a few fill ups to see if any improvement in smoothness/efficiency/performance![]()
No difference on mine, rank several tanks of both to test, currently fill up once a week & i only use Shell. V Nitro+ is currently about 20p litre more expensive than regular. As I approach my first fill up in the GT, thought I would resurrect this thread to see if any more views on the 95v98 debate!:headbonk:
