Finally got around to mounting and wiring some lights behind my grill. I got the parts and mocked up this more than a year ago but haven't had the time to sit back down to do the permanent install since. Well finally did and am pretty happen with the results. All in all It cost about $50 ($20 for lights, $20 for the remote controlled wiring kit, $5 for a fuse tap, $5 for connectors).the hardest part was deciding how to wire it and where to run the wires. I didn't do an especially good job hiding the wires (they are just stuffed down behind the passenger headlight)but I plan to go back to it later probably with some better lights (got these ones at Ollies). @bjstang was one I remember that was very helpful by providing the fuse tap location I used to make sure they only are powered under ignition so that they don't drain the battery. Here are some pictures:

What does the install look like if looking at it from topside down (rad cover removed and looking down into backside of grille)?

I only have pictures from the last time I mocked it up (below) but it should give a general idea. It is a bit more sloppy now because I have the full wiring in with one of those spiral wires sheaths. If you are still curious let me know and I'll try to get updated pics this weekend.

Very nice! I did an identical install on mine but used a 6" Cree LED lamp for longevity. I did the grill swap and Velosa Tech at the same time. Only issue that I have is they are too bright for driving with on coming traffic.

What lights did you use?
I used some "blazer" lights I got a the store "Ollie's" for $20 haha. Honest they are just for looks right now because I can barely even tell when they are on with my headlights. I plan to upgrade to something nicer I the future. This

What supplier did you get yours from? And is it in a bar or round light form factor?

I purchased my 6" Cree LED's off of Ebay, less than $100 shipped. I have a 4" set on a Scion xB that have held up for over 7 years. The 4's are not as bright but would look like a toy on a Mustang. The longevity of the 4's gave me the confidence to use them on the Mustang as a bulb replacement would involve removing the front cover again. Mine are round and are as close the the center of the grill as possible, looking very old school. I did consider a light bar as well but was not sure I would like the look.
