Congrats MikeS. If I may step into your thread hear & ask if there is any knowledge of the current schedule in regards to the R's? Are they getting out the door on time?

We have a build date this week. Guess I never got around to finding out a VIN yet. How about the delivery date? Are They timely?

Thanks for any info.

MikeS. See you changed your mind on color. I have second guessed the color ever since we put the order in!LOL We really like the LB as you have chosen.

There are variables on the shipping. Luckily you should be convoy shipped where you are and that cuts down on transit time. The rest falls into the hands of how backed up the mod shop is. As many R's that they are building that could be a factor. Although it seems most are built and shipped on the normal schedules that cotus provides. Get your Vin and look up the car on cotus.

0 R's I was told by the regional, my R isn't due to be built until 2nd week of September and it's a '17.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if the '18 350 didn't start up until Feb.
I'm deployed and buying a gt350 from here and hey told me the same thing, no Rs, however that may be for only us deployed people. he did say they should start production around October

I would suggest that production for 2018 GT350's (non R's) will start later in this calendar year with the 2018 R model's not starting production until next March 2018 which would be consistent based on the last couple of years.

;)

Maybe this is posted in another thread, but what is base price for a GT350/R. Did Ford take an increase for the 2018's?

Never mind - found it. $1K increase over 2017.

Actually almost $3K over my 2017 - Base MSRP of $54,295

GT350 - $57,145
GT350R - $64, 645

Perhaps, but with the '18 production being pushed back as far as it has they may be in a hurry to produce as many standard mustangs as possible.

Agreed that is a good possibility of that happening as well.

With the Lincoln Continental also being assembled at FR who knows if that will have any effect from a production planning and manpower standpoint later on this year?
