I got my GT from Future as well in Sacramento.
You did??

If I know future ford, those guys are all about a dollar.
Yeah they are, and this deal isn't showing on my doc yet

Congrats! Was this the one at Swedenskys dealership?
Nope, our sister store in Roseville. Curious to see he final number as I had a good offer on it earlier this week

Congrats OP! Hope my comments did not come off as not supportive

My dealer only thought that the shipping blocks where on the front of the car. I wanted my shipping blocks and ask them to save them. When I came to pick my car up it was still in the service department. I asked for the blocks and they handed my two yellow ones. I asked where are the white ones from the back? They replied the car only has them on the front. I laughed and said you want to bet a six pack of beer? The tech that actually PDI'ed the car said I'm positive and my beer choice is bud light. I laughed and said you like cheap beer, my beer cost more! So the tech put the car back on the lift and all of us looked in the rear wheel wells. To all of their surprise, there was a white block on both sides. I looked at the tech and told him what beer I preferred. He actually got in his car and came back with a six pack beer.

Congrats! 802a...don't need any crappy sound system anyway. I love mine, I could daily it without any issues at all. Of course, around here I ain't driving it in the snow. Get the oil temps up before you pound on it!
Enjoy

The little I've driven it I have noticed it is very cold blooded. Water comes up fairly fast but oil takes some time to get over 170.

I have been poking around for about 6 months trying to get an R. The no reserve DIB on Ebay was my latest target and I was willing to bid to get that car. Before I got serious, I decided to talk one last time with the guys at Future Ford. I told them I was a serious buyer and that I was currently bidding and I was going to buy it. I was not lying, I was dead set on finally getting one. I think they could sense that I was a serious buyer and after back and forth on the phone we came to an agreement. I did not get the car for MSRP but I think I got a fair market value. I will say that I did pay less than the DIB no reserve car.

We were going to trailer the car home but quickly realized that I didn't have what I needed to tie it down correctly. Rather than scratch the car I drove it home. It rode incredibly stiff. I decided that I would put it up o n my lift Sunday morning and see what was up. After inspecting it on the lift I noticed right away that they didn't remove the ******g shipping spacers from the suspension:doh:. This has me a little concerned about the PDI so I am going to take it over to my local dealer and have them look it over and make sure nothing else was missed.

Totally stoked to have gotten the car. Looking forward to learning everything about it and driving it on the weekends.
Congrats! Love the DIB, just comes alive under direct sunlight. Good catch on the suspension shipping spacers. :clap2: How much of a difference did it make?
