I did some research after reading thru Mach 1 Mara's post. Saw those shipping blocks, sure enough they were on my fronts as well. Been on there for 11k miles. So much for magna ride.... Put the car up like 10 mins later and pulled them suckers off. Looked into the rears and didnt see anything.

You need to lift the car with a jack and they pull right off.

Why is the dealer prep so crappy? Can't blame the pandemic cause it was crappy before all that.

That's pretty bad. On my ZL1 there was a note with a picture stuck to the driver side window clearly indicating the blocks need to be removed before driving it. I wonder if Ford doesn't do that?

What also bothers me is, if they missed something that obvious, what else did they screw up post delivery?

Notice any change in ride quality now that they are removed?

I'm assuming that it rides much better now, notice the difference?

I don’t remember seeing anything in the window but the PDI document clearly informs the dealer to remove them. Even has a procedure and pictures of the blocks.

Not yet, went around the block after I removed them I noticed the pitch of the front end gives me just a tad more road visibility in the front.

Maybe the dealership has an Ex-Dodge employee who saw fancy yellow thingys and left them on like the Dodge Boys do with their front splitter decorations.... 😁

Can you see them without removing the wheel? Looking into the front coils I don't see anything. Just paranoid that they may be in a spot I can't see without removing the tires.

You will be able to see them with the car sitting in the ground. Just peak in above the tire and you’ll know right away

My commute to work today was alot smoother with the magnaride actually getting to function. I drive about 35 miles on I95 at 80+ and car was feeling much tighter than before far as hugging the road. Prob combination of new wheels/tires and no shipping blocks. Upgrading brake pads and rotors next.

Yes mine were left in also upon delivery. So I asked my dealer to e-mail me the PDI sheet for my car, and they did! The Tech signed off that he removed them. I took photo's and sent them to the Service Manager, Still waiting on a call back from him to explain, That was in April................

I dd my first mod today and it became a two-for-one. First I installed my BMR low profile jacking rails. Second one was removing the shipping blocks Granger left when they failed to do a proper pre-delivery inspection. You might think Granger would have been more diligent since these issues keep popping up. 😠
