appears to offer a longer warranty as well:

Are Paxton Superchargers covered by a warranty?
Paxton Automotive offers a three-year limited warranty on all supercharging systems.

Are the seals easy to swap? I wouldn't want to have to send the S/C in for warranty work just for a seal.
Idk. My tuner sent it back to procharger to get checked out just in case the lack of oil damaged any bearings. When I got it back it looked like it had been shipped in a box of rocks. The finish was all scratched up.

If you did it yourself I guarantee the warranty would be voided. They void the warranty if you swap the pulley too.
I did the install myself but I had my tuner do the pulley swap when I had the BAP, injectors, exhaust and first dyno tune. The blower blew a seal after I took it back to be retuned.

Sounds like you paid for more than just new seals. Did they replace the bearings?

Did you pay extra for the black / polish finish ?

What was your setup? How much boost? Which tune? What was red line? Standard BOV?

Yes i went from a 2012 gt paxton car 641/557 rwhp tremec car to my current 2016 na build car @ 477/388 rwhp. my paxton car had zero issues it was very reliable. I just wanted a the new car that was fast without boost. the s-550 is a much better platform! I dont miss the old car at all, it simply had run its course and i wanted to go into a different direction. I must say i like my current car much better in every respect except its a little slower then the old car which is to be expected. Dont blame you for going n/a there is a trend of owners moving in that direction. There are quite a few of them hitting high 10's and low 11's...my mods are in my signature!

I have the stage 2 set up with a polished P1 head unit ID1000 injectors, JMS BAP, 170 degree thermostat, JBA long tubes(garbage)catless mid pipes and ford racing cat back. I forget what size pulley I have on the blower right now I've got the BOV that came with the kit and I'm making about 8-10 lb of boost. The car put down about 625 hp and 500 to TQ with a custom tune. I don't know what the redline is. I don't ever go above 5 grand I never did the OPG upgrade. That's part of the reason I'm going back. I don't want to spend the money to have it done and don't trust the stock one to not break on the next dyno pull. I figure I'll just put it back stock and trade it in on something I can take my family account across the country in.

it sort of seems like the stock BOV didn't work properly and caused too much pressure within the S/C during the dyno. Tuner probably ran it much higher than 5000. The stock OPG is a nuisance. I am surprised they didn't pack the polished S/C more carefully. They do look much better than satin.

I think the polished head unit does cost more but don't really remember. PC checked everything and said I just needed seals. I also paid to have my injectors sent back to Injector Dynamics to be cleaned and repaired. That was supposedly what was causing the surge at idle. It helped but didn't eliminate the problem. I also paid for a retune because I put the colder thermostat in to help with the high CHT's. I'm not overly happy about my experience with this tuner. They had my car for 7 weeks and didn't fix any of the drivability issues, fix any of their shotty work from previous tune other than the pinging issue that I had. I rerouted the BAP wiring so it wasn't running over the carpet in the trunk. My right side header has a leak. It sounds like crap and it rubs the body underneath too.

Does anyone know how long the factory fuel rail spacers are? (The pedestals that the bolts go through that hold the fuel rail in place)

After 2 years of frustration and thousands of dollars wasted on parts and tunes I've decided to get rid of my pro charger stage 2 set up. The car won't idle right and seems to fall flat at 3500 rpm and can't seem to get out of its own way. It has actually taken all the fun out of driving this car. Has anyone else made the switch back to natural aspiration?
Hey, I am currently on the same boat as you.
I have a procharger HO kit and my car is not making the power it is supposed to.
I have S550s and camaros with headers and a tune that are faster than me. Its been really frustrating and really thinking about switching to whipple.

What happened to the ones you had? What injectors are you running? My stock injectors were same length as the id1000's...fuel rails went right on.

I'm still using ID1000's. that's good to hear. If I can get exhaust studs and nuts I'm going to do this this week. The blower and that is going to be easy. The headers are going to be a b!t(h.

I really wish I hadn't wasted the money on tunes and all that and just gone back to factory a long time ago. After my experience I doubt I do a SC on anything else at least not a procharger anyway.

Something is off. My PC has been nothing less than perfect so far and made incredible power on 93.

I'm making 623 hp at the wheels on 91 octane. It's not about the power, it's about the drivability for me.
