Hello; Now I have a name. I am a fossil realist. Not sure what my vested interest may be. I will cease my gripes about EV range if they can get one to 1000 miles. Will not go silent unless it can be also affordable. Sort of like Ferraris being around. I do not mind them being so expensive as long as i can have a lesser and affordable car.

Problem is, information doesn't have any ethics . So if the ones reporting the information has a vested interest in swaying the public they are not held accountable like they would in a court of law.
This is lost on many. As long as strings are attached to getting grants, funding includes reports showing a favorable bias for those with a vested interest HOLDING THE PURSE STRINGS in that outcome. we will have what we have. A BIG BIG LIE!

Do you think that the scientists at the CSIRO (a government funded research group) got extra funding from the climate change denial government here when they kept finding results that conflicted with the governments preferences?
Or, is it more likely that most people have more integrity than that?

It’s actually funny because these guys seem to think that scientists would suddenly be out of a job if they don’t come up with “the right answers”. As if the entire scientific world will suddenly stop measuring and recording the planet we live on if AGW is disproven.

I wonder how scientists got the funding to measure ocean levels and migratory patterns of birds (as just two examples) back in the days before AGW became an issue….?

What were the predictions for “this winter”? Who made them? Where were they published? (Maybe I missed it)
