I just got an OBDLink EX and was trying to run Forscan and I'm getting this error. I have a Lund tune on the car but have no idea what to put in Forscan to make it detect my 2021 GT500

Anyone have this issue?

Did forscan work for you before it was tuned? I have a lund tune on my 16 GT and have never seen this message. I'm wondering if the devs behind forscan have added support for S550 GT500's yet.

Try the Part # like it's asking for, LR3Z-12A650-JANP, see if that works.

You will have to email Lund and get the strategy number they used. 99.999% sure Lund will say no.

Flash back to stock, run forscan then re-flash the Lund tune, will be the fastest work around.

Lund scrambles the OSID number. Forscan needs that number to identify the car.

Makes no difference if SCT or HPT.

I was getting the same error with the Whipple tune on a GT, so I emailed Forscan support and they sent me a strategy number.

I'm sure yours will be different, but below is what their reply looked like.

"Hello,

Please use this strategy code:

KR3A-14C204-BGF

Or short version of it:

KR3ABGF

--
Regards,
FORScan Team"

I’m tuned by Lund and have not had any issues using Forscan.

looks like the strategy number is the on the PCM. The tuners require that number as well when you get a tune.

The easiest thing for you is to read the strategy right from the sticker on the pcm.

It looks like it may be under the fusebox in engine compartment, but I read that you shouldnt go by the sticker as software can get updated and that # is no longer valid. You can use a SCT to pull it. Is it possible to use HP Tuner device to pull it?

If you are Lund tuned whithin the last 5 years or so he has gone to scrambling the OSID. You can try a SCT or a MPVI but I suspect they will not connect.

Easiest way is to flash stock, make any forscan changes you want then flsh back to your Lund tune.

Ok, I had it tuned in November and switching over to matrix OS with ghost cam and roll anti lag I’ll do it when I flash the new tune .

When were you tuned by lund?
I assume this is for me…

2 years ago was the last update from Lund. Perhaps mine is scrambled, but never any issues with Forscan connecting or changing any of the code. I’ve done it several times with the last time just late last summer. I’ve been able to use Forscan as well to do crank relearns without issue, again last summer many times. I’m trying to figure out an issue so I’ve done them through my nGauge as well Forscan but neither helped fix my issue.
For OP, if it’s asking for the strategy I’d put in what is on the sticker on the PCM. You would have been asked for it when you were tuned initially.
