There is no luck involved with working out a fair deal to get a hot new limited model at MSRP. It takes effort and persistence. The dealers who will sell at MSRP right out the gate for the GT350 will usually be small market dealers in areas that do not sell many mustangs and usually sell trucks or SUVs. They will be dealerships that probably will only get one allocation. They will be in small towns where people don't have a lot of disposable income. It takes planning, negotiating effort and tenacity to work out a deal this early. Daytona is an area where people have a lot of disposable income so I am sure ADMs will be at dealerships for quite a while. If you want one at a fair price you at going to need to put more effort into it. A good deal isn't going to fall into your lap in Daytona or Tampa. There is no luck in buying a GT350 only smarts and effort. I never said you didn't deserve the car only said that is is unwise to use a portion of your pension to buy a car. Any financial planner would tell you the same thing. If any of us need a deal at MSRP it is you because every dollar of ADM you pay will be another dollar lost out of your pension. I only wish you the best with your purchase. I hope you realize that you can buy the car from an out of state dealer and have them transfer the delivery from the factory to your local dealer. Buy one from a dealer in North Dakota at MSRP where nobody wants a mustang and then have it delivered to a dealer in Daytina and thumb your nose at them as you walk out the door with a MSRP deal or better! If you are in fact purchasing for MSRP your lucky buddy, what I'm saying is that folks are getting very worked up with the car and we are no were near it hitting dealerships yet, the dealerships are going to give you halfhearted promises if they really even have the true information on the vehicle. I am not saying some dealerships are point on with the GT350 but alot out there have no real clue until it gets much closer to the actual release date. I can tell you two really big Ford dealerships well known for specialty mustangs in Tampa & other in Daytona bch. both are not talking anything other than what we all know here and somewhat to a lesser degree of knowledge as to the car. They will get them when they get them, will they sell @ MSRP initialy? I doubt it, I have purchased (2) mustangs from the dealership in Daytona I know they are not going to sell this car (or first one) at MSRP who knows maybe they will, I am not going to get on a list or call all over the state at this point when the car is still way off. And yes don't ya think a guy kinda deserve's something like a one time opportunity at getting that dream car after 29 years on the job. At least thats how my wife is agreeing to it.
