Get it right now from another dealer or wait????

Guys need your input. I have ordered a Race Red premium Gt with performance pack, have a vin, it is in production right now since 10/31. Cotus EDD is 12/02.
However, I found exact same one at another dealer 2 hours away and the dealer is willing to offer xplan pricing and I could pick it up this coming Tuesday..
QUESTION is: Shall I wait for my order with the risk - it could get delayed?
or
Go pick this up?

Only issue with picking one up on Tuesday is I'll lose the 500 i had put as a deposit at my original dealer. But if I do get the EAA membership, ill get the $750.coupon n xplan code. So technically I'll even out if I go pick one up on Tuesday and save 250 on top, in one way..

Please share your opinions.

If it's not EXAXTLY what you ordered, wait. You will regret not getting what you want. If it is exactly what you ordered, and cheaper in the end, go for it.

I'd wait for the one you ordered. Just by reading some of the build week posts some of the cars are delivered by the original EDD on Cotus. Something is wacky with that Beta program for sure, but I'm sure your wait will not be Dec. Deep Breaths

Don't tell your original dealer you are buying elsewhere..... Tell him you got laid off or something so maybe they'll refund your deposit. Then go buy elsewhere.

I called Them as anonymous and ask them if they refund the deposit, they said they don't - for a fact.. guess I'm stuck :frusty:

I'd get the one that's available now! The other dealer should refund your deposit too, mine guaranteed I could pull my deposit at any time. Have the new dealer put a hold on the car and go to the other dealer and tell them to cancel your order... tired of waiting.

I called them and asked them, they said they can't. I'm so close to pull the trigger on the one that's available at another dealer ahh!

Another question would be is the extra 3 (or more) weeks of aggravation worth the $500? My EDD was 12/03 and now it has vanished along with my counter, if I could find my exact model for pick up on Tuesday I'd eat the $500, but that's just me...

I'd say go look extremely close at the one at the other dealer. If it's a stock order/Early build it could have problems..
