it is busy..our population doubles on the weekends..Shallowford bridge to old dial rd ( which is where sandy bottoms canoe launch is) is a nice drive..
I found Old Dial Rd. That's where I stopped to help change the tire.

Sort of a different question for here, but I'm swopping cars with my Ex this weekend. See runs the registration for the SCCA Autocrosses and wanted to drive my GT this weekend. I'm taking the dogs and her 4-Runner. So.... I want a good service road or 3 with a creek to get out at and let the dogs swim a little. Can you guys name any I can look up, or loose directions? I know there's an area behind the 400 outlets, we sunk a Pathfinder there 25 years ago, but I don't know if that's still open to the public. For the record, Laraine was driving her own Pathfinder, I just wasn't a huge help. I think my approach on life is about the same as driving up to a 10 foot "puddle" these days. Slow and avoid it as much as possible. LOL...

Welcome to the area aprevo15 !! This is a great area for using your Mustang to the fullest. Except for Hwy 400. And of course anywhere inside the perimeter is tough...

Thanks guys.

Do you guys know some shops near the Atlanta area that works on our cars? I just bought my car few days ago and I know I am going to enjoy it in its stock form for now but I know it won't be long until I am going to want to do some stuff to it. Just reading a bunch of threads on this forum and watching ton of YouTube videos is making me crazy. lol

Perfect Performance in Roswell is excellent for tires and suspension installs among other things. They installed my Steeda gear and hooked me up with Michelins, better than Tire Rack was offering. And Angela Krause Ford service is good for when you need warranty stuff.

Day started out cloudy, roads dry, the sun braking thru. Off we go, battling bicycles, motorcycles & slow traffic, we find some really good spots to run. Was fun, twisty. Mustangs announcing their presence as we take on the corners. It must have sounded awesome, 5 bad boys laying the wood to the peddle.

A few shots of them in the quite mode;

@SDB83, that was a Mountain Run which was kept privately for the safety of all drivers participating, normally its also a very small group (normally 3 max) but yesterday was indeed an exception. There are Mountain Runs and Mountain Cruises. Cruises are very safe for all skill levels and anyone is welcome to participate. I apologize that you feel this way but I am sure there will be an event available soon enough. In fact, please feel free to start an event. I'd like to share with you the routes to enjoy at your leisure. It's pre-planned and can be launched through Google Maps which works best.

NoXiDe is spot on... the Mountain "Runs" are very different from a Mountain "Drive" or "Cruise."
I can NOT take the wife on a "Run"..... I don't want to clean up Puerto Rican puke from my passengers side after getting yelled at in Spanish spoken so loudly, and so fast that I can't understand it. That is how I learned "Jodido".

The Cruises take a lot more planning because people bring wives and kids. That usually entails planning for rest stops, a restaurant that can handle a large group, enough parking for group photo opts, etc. With COVID, this is going to be tougher as it relates to somewhere to eat.
