I've had the car for a couple of weeks and I have noticed a bit of noise/whine coming from the gearbox/driveshaft.
More noticeable in second and third gear.
I recall my old Tvr had some gear whine but haven't had it to the same extent on others rear wheel grove I've had.
Is this a characteristic or should I get it looked at?
Cheers

I love the mechanical noises and the bit of whine... makes it feel more raw... I remember driving it away from ford and being delighted at the 2nd gear racing car whine...

But maybe that's just me...

You could turn up your music ... works wonders on unwanted noises

Don't worry about moaning that's why there are forums,I have plenty of 'moans' about my GT also, but they are greatly outnumbered by the joys of driving the car.I have an auto but tested a manual and it was not at all whining especially compared to my tvr.

Yes biggest whine in the car is me
Oh and I forgot to say it's back in for a new battery

Cup half full eh. I'll line lock it out of the dealers when I pick it up. That might chill me out
