Hi folks,
sorry for my bad english.
I installed some bushings in my 2018 Mustang GT EU PP MT.
These yellows are not really stiff, shore hardness about 75.
Now my gear whine from the rear diff between 40 - 100 mph is much louder. I hab the gear whine also BEFORE I installed the bushings, but they were not loud enough to annoy me. Not it's loud enough to annoy me, though it's not really loud. My diff oil is a 75W-140.
I know someone with a 2016 GT EU PP AT, which installed the same bushes and did not have any noises from the diff, so I think the problem is not the bushing, it's my diff. What I've read is it's usually the backlash in the diff.
Has someone experience in adjusting the backlash? What I've read is it's complicated and time consuming. Maybe it makes more sense to let my workshop change into a 4.09 diff, better acceleration and no noises. What do you suggest?
regards
Philipp
