The lights on those gauges should be the same color as the rest of the instruments, no?

It could be you have to re-set your Mycolor selections after replacing the battery.

iirc (car is in Maine I'm in Hawaii) the 2 center gauges follow the digital gauge clusters, setting of main color and 2nd color. mine are red following the main color choice in my gauge settings, I have the 12" digital cluster, There is a main color setting and secondary color setting. want to say those 2 follow the main color setting. but you didn't say if you have the analog cluster or the digital led screen cluster

What color are the gauges? When did you look to check the color of the gauges?

IIRC, unless it's dark outside and your headlights are on automatically, you can't set Mycolor.

I don't think you can turn your headlights on manually and be able to adjust the Mycolor.

Thanks guys.there are 2 blues, and I do see that the digital main cluster was the same shade of blue as my 2 gauges.i changed it to ice blue and now I'm set.i think the issue was I never drive it after dark because of deer,so the bright blue just surprised me.the ice blue is still blue but like a sky blue, much better.man as I get older.im 77 now my body is much more sensitive to almost any change.i may go back at some point.but I'm good now

Blue is actually really bad for seeing at night, but it sounds like that's not a concern.

Mine are red, only because I like the look of my 89 turbo t/a red cluster back lighting. They should've been angled toward the driver, I would love to get a 2nd set to see if that can be done, with some mod's and solder gun.

I've been running blue for years. But reading about how blue light fucks with your sleep patterns, I've switched to the simple white lighting for the gauges.

I'm sure there's some Google searching that will reveal what lighting for gauges is best for night-vision.

BITD (before adjustable LED’s) I think the Germans claimed orange / amber was best for night, hence the digit / dial colour on older BMW’s ?

I run mine in the green color, has a kind of NVG look to it, which is the color most modern military aircraft use now. Much easier on the eyes at night.

I try not to sleep too much while driving, so I'm sticking with the blue. 😝

Nice semi-dim white for me. Orange/red if traveling long drives at night.
