Yeah i've got a PM off him that I responded to after seeing this, I've been past his place a few times, as it's next to the perry bar greyhound tracks, and my grandparents love it there.Id give him a call or pop to his place buddy or like his FB page, am sure he can help you out either way.

Will see what Alan can do, as obviously me and my mate who's a mechanic, are debating about whether to put the car up on blocks/axle-stands etc, and if the axle-stands i've got (which i bought for my corsa) would hold the Mustangs weight as they were dirt cheapo ones from Ebay !
Mine went on 2 ton axle stands, piece of cake to fit. You'll be done in 45 minsYeah i've got a PM off him that I responded to after seeing this, I've been past his place a few times, as it's next to the perry bar greyhound tracks, and my grandparents love it there.

Indeed, I'll buy the right equipment, but have a bit of head time before the exhaust comes as it's on back order for Nemesis' next delivery. Otherwise the hunt for someone with a ramp begins !Never go under a car unless you have right equipment!
I a working on headers with Alan for the V8, told him I was fedup of waiting for Milltek and was close to ordering from Australia, but he has agreed to get some made up for his Mustang as he also wants them, if all goes well he will also get me a set made as well.
He is a good guy, knows his stuff and has a lot of contacts in motorsport.
Plus he is a genius at mapping, the results he has already got on the new Focus RS is staggering, which is same engine as Mustang. ;)
I wouldn't trust anyone other than Adam Brunson when it comes to tuning the ecoboost.Plus he is a genius at mapping, the results he has already got on the new Focus RS is staggering, which is same engine as Mustang. ;)
To be honest I'd not even tune an ecoboost full stop.I wouldn't trust anyone other than Adam Brunson when it comes to tuning the ecoboost.
The gains both MPG, Torque and BHP on the Ecoboost engine, from what I'm hearing (With different spark plugs, intercooler) are something else... So not sure why you wouldn't tune one? Interested to hear ;DTo be honest I'd not even tune an ecoboost full stop.![]()

My axlestands are 3 tonne each by the way, they'll hold the stang![]()
As regards tuning, people will tune the FRS as the 2.3 is what it comes with. For the Mustang if you want 400BHP there's an engine readily available. I appreciate that running costs make it prohibitive for some with daily requirements. One reason not to tune it would be the reports of exploding engines from the US; granted few and far between but you wouldn't want to be that guy...The gains both MPG, Torque and BHP on the Ecoboost engine, from what I'm hearing (With different spark plugs, intercooler) are something else... I've always had a distrust of axle-stands. It's not really the stands themselves but more my ability in placing them correctly. Just found out we have a place in my town that will rent ramp-space and tools for ÂŁ17 an hour though.
Stock engines are letting go also, not just tuned.been following the eco boom threads quite a lot out of interest .. seems most have not followed the direction of the tuners.. in terms of octane, intercooler or intakes. is that a fair summary?
Octane wise, I run whatever octane Momentum and Vpower are (I think 99 to us????), aint getting into the octane debate.Stock engines are letting go also, not just tuned.
But of course if your tune a car for Octane 93, that means put Octane 93 or better in it.
Makes me laugh when I read threads I put 91 in my 93 tuned car, IDIOTS!
Anyone tuning, use the right fuel and datalog your car from the start, check the fuel trims, AFR, knock sensors etc.
