Yes, lithium is bad. I guess we need to get rid of the billions of portable devices that use them. Your concern is notable but very narrowly focused.Lithium is not the answer. With better battery technology we can solve the energy problems of the world. 10x the capacity at 50% the cost and EVs would surpass ICE very quickly.
But at this point EVs are more expensive to own with a small base that can make them viable.
The economics always always dictate the success of a technology. EVs are going the wrong way at this point.
Also this. Lithium is bad.
