Gaming PC help

I am not super knowledgeable about Gaming PCs and have no desire to build my own, so trying to get a decent one from the store if possible.

I was looking at these two, don't want to spend more than these really. So if anyone is into this stuff and could let me know if either one of these are decent or one is considerably better than the other, that would be great. Trying to ditch the console.

Personally I would recommend the Skytech. One of the benefits with the AM5 socket from AMD is it will be supported to, or past 2027. So if you feel like upgrading the cpu to something in the future it should be supported. The LGA1700 sockets life cycle is already over. (EOL) Intel has already moved onto the LGA1851 socket.

Any chance you have a Microcenter near you?

The closest one looks like it is about an hour and 15 minutes away from me. Thanks for the help... my heads spinning a little from looking at all these different setups.

I built a nice high end rig. I'm very much a computer geek. The GPU alone probably cost around $2k..

The stupidest shit about it..I only play cities skylines on the PC.

And ever since Xcloud got significantly better I cloud game everything else ( this was actually way more impressive than I could have imagined)

Most expensive potato. But yes it can run far cry.

Was going to say that if you did, you can always go down, they do offer a service for it for free I believe. They will help you pick parts out that would fit exactly what your goal is with the computer as far as gaming, productivity etc, and with a budget you can set. They even offer the service to build it for you. With that you get a lot more selection of what the case looks like , if you want rgb or no rgb etc.

I also believe you can bring all your own parts down and they will build not for you, even if you didn't purchase stuff through them, for a fee of course.

That's hilarious. Cities skylines is a great game. I haven't played the 2nd one yet. My dad is addicted to that game.

Yeah its definitely worth a visit. I think you can schedule a consult online. Its definitely worth it whennyour waiting for speciality fittings that are white, coming from tiawan, and the fedex guy messes up and sends them back to Taiwan. My current setup

Then my nephews build that he "helped" with.

Thankfully now he is old enough for me to help him learn how to work on cars. Been modding his civic, and he even helped me with the mustang suspension. Plus was a good enough sport to help me drop wrenches and socket wrenches on my head.
