Anybody notice or have a hissing noise, coming from front or underside of car when idling. Sometimes in gear and sometimes in neutral? My 2021 doesn't have this but my 2022 I have noticed it quite a bit. Almost sounds like an air leak or hissing noise.

Yes mine does it all the time on my 2020. I can tell it has something to do with the trans and clutch.

Sorry, I had to. It's all I could think of when I read your post, ha-ha.

Is it an exhaust leak at the clamps? Does it change pitch if you feather the throttle?

Sure its not the fuel pump? or the oil pump? Or one of the pumps pressurizing? I hear this mainly in my driveway when backing out with the windows down.

or it could be:

Definitely not exhaust. I was thinking transmission oil pump maybe.

Yes. They all do that. This is from front and an air leak kind of sound.

I just find it weird that my 2021 never did this and the 2022 does. I am wondering if it could be something simple like transmission fluid level low or something.

FWIW, a relative's Taurus did the same thing. It sounded like a vacuum leak, coming from the area of the transmission. We checked, and couldn't find anything wrong. We had a mechanic check, couldn't find anything wrong. Close to 100,000 miles and still going strong. No issues. We just figured it was built that way. To someone used to "regular" mechanical-type sounds, it just didn't seem right.
