I recently got a few quotes for full frontal wrap. All the best shops offer Xpel and some offer 3M is an alternative. Lowest quote I got was $1400 and most in the $2000 range.

Until it slightly yellows in 5-10 years and when you go to replace it it takes off the clear coat with it.Full XPEL wrap is a great idea. For a 50k+ car, I'd do it. The fact that you can run it through an automatic car wash if you want without risking swirls and RIDS is pretty cool.
Not if you use a reputable film (XPEL) and a reputable shop...Until it slightly yellows in 5-10 years and when you go to replace it it takes off the clear coat with it.
Yeah, you just pull it off yourself, you're going to pull the paint up with it. My friend runs one of the largest XPEL shops in the Florida area, and have seen him pull off film from Ferraris, Bentleys, Corvettes, etc. without any issues at all. It's all in the technique....Just saw a local guy pull xpel off after 2 weeks and it pulled off the paint of his F430. Less the film more the shitty quality of modern oem paint jobs.
Could you maybe post a pic or two? I have yet to seen a clear wrapped car and am concerned about the distortion and yellowing it may cause after time.I got Xpel installed yesterday. I got the painted surfaces in the front end and up the hood slightly past the vent opening. Also, the headlights, A pillars, rear view mirrors and the leading edge of the roof. Looks good and it's a little peace of mind - there's a lot of debris on the roads this time of year.
are you going to Dalo in St Louis? That is who I planned to go withCould you maybe post a pic or two? I have yet to seen a clear wrapped car and am concerned about the distortion and yellowing it may cause after time.
