I recently got a few quotes for full frontal wrap. All the best shops offer Xpel and some offer 3M is an alternative. Lowest quote I got was $1400 and most in the $2000 range.

Full Xpel wraps by quality installers up in the Northwest range from $4500-$8000. A full wrap with PPF with take roughly a week to get it done, let everything dry, and make sure edges aren't lifting.

Full XPEL wrap is a great idea. For a 50k+ car, I'd do it. The fact that you can run it through an automatic car wash if you want without risking swirls and RIDS is pretty cool.

Until it slightly yellows in 5-10 years and when you go to replace it it takes off the clear coat with it.

You don’t want to know
I saw a black Jag XK-R earlier this week, full body wrap in the Xpel stealth material. It was amazing looking.

Just saw a local guy pull xpel off after 2 weeks and it pulled off the paint of his F430. Less the film more the shitty quality of modern oem paint jobs.

Yeah, you just pull it off yourself, you're going to pull the paint up with it. My friend runs one of the largest XPEL shops in the Florida area, and have seen him pull off film from Ferraris, Bentleys, Corvettes, etc. without any issues at all. It's all in the technique....

He did not pull it off on his own lol. Not the first story I heard of paint being pulled off either.

I got Xpel installed yesterday. I got the painted surfaces in the front end and up the hood slightly past the vent opening. Also, the headlights, A pillars, rear view mirrors and the leading edge of the roof. Looks good and it's a little peace of mind - there's a lot of debris on the roads this time of year.

I went with full hood, front bumper, fenders and hood. That cost $1900 with prep. Then had the rest of the car coated in opti coat pro for another $600. The combination is extemely effective. Post 1300 mile trip I detailed the car and not a single scratch or swirl. Very impressed.

Make sure your installer wraps around entire panels and doesn't stop short at seams.

Could you maybe post a pic or two? I have yet to seen a clear wrapped car and am concerned about the distortion and yellowing it may cause after time.

I had my full hood, facia, bikini on fenders, headlights, rockers, thresholds and impact behind rear wheels.

If you get right up on the paint you can see it, but from 2 feet it is invisible.

XPEL has the templates, and now has templates to do around the stripes.

Worth the $1500 it cost me.

I'd like to see macroy post the details. He showed the wrap going on his hood in another thread and it looked great after, but no details.
